My vision for Ling Online

For me, Sundays is often a day for reflection, and today I wanted to share why I have decided to start my own business, and a part of my vision for Ling Online.
For the past 7.5 years, I have worked at a very large corporation - and I have absolutely loved it! The colleagues, culture, cuisine…it has all been amazing. Most of all, I am forever grateful for everything I have learned and the networks that I have built. The clients and colleagues that I have worked with over the years has been the highlight, and this, together with the digital marketing skills that I have acquired, is what I will value the most looking back on this time.
When I left Facebook a few months ago, I decided to take some time to think about what I have enjoyed the most about my job and to use that as a north star for my next move. I came to the conclusion that the time spent with colleagues and clients training and consulting them on topics within my area of expertise is what I enjoy the most by far. I am also a big believer in democratising and demystifying social media marketing, and to empower businesses to take charge of how (and to whom) their brand is portrayed in online advertising.
For that reason, I am hoping to be able to integrate training and development into my work with clients, making sure that they are as involved as they want to be in the strategy and operations, as well as making sure that they have enough knowledge themselves to make informed decisions about their marketing.
(This is not a sales pitch, but if you would like to discuss your business goals and how I might be able to help, please contact me and we can schedule a meeting)
